I like the face & skin color :) .
Maybe you could make the whole background dark, so that the face comes more forward. The red is too distracting.
I think you should work more with shadows instead of lines (with the eyes and lips)

Sorry for my english..

Thomas
The update is a good step forward, for sure.
This is turning into an exceptional painting.
Something about her left eye is catching me. I'm not sure what is is. Should the eyelid be a bit darker?

RE:pink portrait......... Hi Thomas...You have a pretty daughter and I like your portrait. I think I am seeing the same thing as Bill. The left eye seems larger than the right. I think it is because one has a dark liner and the other one seems to be quite light. Overall though, very nice.............Lenore

Hi Thomas! I like what you have done here, a very nice image and likeness. I almost feel I am coming to know your family, at least by sight! I do have a suggestion brought about by the hat color. It does have shock appeal because it is so pink against all that red. That is fine, I dont mind that, but the hat looks like it is made out of the same material as her face. The color and texture are the same. She has beautiful green eyes and you have chosen to emphasize them. Notice how they have even more glow if you make the hat and stripes green...

Thomas, her chin and jaw look extraodinarily large compared to the rest of her face. That's the only thing that throws me off. The updated piece is much better as far as incorporating the shadows.

Thanks for all the comments. I worked on the chin and finished it up. Thanks again.
