Took this evening photograph last year.

Have manipulated it by doing resizes without locking original ratio box ticked, plus added sky space and pushed that around also extended mountain range.

Next step is to do a watercolour painting w.i.p.!

JJ, when you open PSP and resize the image look at the bottom left of the resize window. Uncheck the box that says Maintain Ratio (or something similar, I don't remember which version you have). Then in the width and height boxes you type in any pixels you'd like. You can do the math or reset the "factor" to inches in the dropdown just to the right of the width box. Or remember the undo button and just play!

Hi jow, good start.

Are you an ex-pat living in Australia?

As LauraD said,
The photograph above was resized out of ratio, then I added canvas (made a blank space above the resized photo) this added canvas then had sky created using push and smudge tools in paint shop pro. (they are available in other image software apps. )

The painting has dried out this morning and colours have gained in depth, have other noticed that after watercolours have stood for 24 hours this action?

Painting this morning.

Yorky,
I am still and Englishman living in Devon, retired, and had holidays the last three winter over in Australia.

If I see a cheap flight to Oz. anytime now we will most probably would go again,
cheap is what I call 175 return, honest. They are still about when seats are empty.
