Park Bench

This afternoon's painting 3pm - 5pm at the park near my home. This is looking across the opposite side from which I usually paint. I've painted from the right of the park bench several times. Had to disturb all the ducks which usually sit under the small tree that I picked to stand under today...LOL! I kept hoping some of them would go over in front of the bench and nibble there...but of course, they're never where you want them!

Ah...Carly...I do think this is my favorite of yours thus far!

I love the contrast of the colors in the water....really speaks to my sense of it. Colors are delightful....

I was afraid everyone would want to know why the water was "orange"! LOL When the sun shines just right across this (more of a pond than a lake), the water is a bright orange!

Gavin...that's not the problem. I don't feed the ducks but they all seem to like me anyway. They come and sit around the edge of the lake below my feet! I think its because most people steer away from "disturbing" me...and the ducks have figured out that I don't do much except stand there!
