i'm an artistic dabbler (new to WC as well) and i started getting into pen and ink a few months ago.
this is a contour drawing of a rose that i did a little bit ago.

Interesting - positioning the rose upside down makes for a turn of perspective, for sure......

Beautiful drawing. Can you explain a little how did you do it? Did you use a natural flower or a photo? Did you draw the petals only or also any shadow? It is a different way to draw flowers, I like it very much.

dolors:I used a dried rose as my model, the actual flower was only about an inch long so I blew it up quite a bit in the drawing. I avoided drawing any shadows and tried to only put in the actual flower petals and leaves.
