Looking good! Try adding more variation of color in your tree line and in the foreground...

Perhaps wash out some broken down fence posts and rails to the left side of the composition, preferably pointing toward the barn. You could even mix a little white gouache with your paint to make it opaque and paint over the background.

Looking much better Joni. I like the addition of the fence on the left.
You might add a little change in tone to the lower part of the roof. If the sun is coming from the upper left, it would hit the top part a little stronger than it would the lower part and the eave on the right side would probably be even more shaded than you are showing it.

That's fine Joni, I like the light on the conifers.
I would put this away now, having learnt a few things about composition and look for a new subject.
