Chris, this is really great. You've captured the "Irish look" so well, with the Abbey and the boulders and stones. So many of these buildings have stones and boulders around them. The town I live in is Clare, and was named after County Clare in Ireland. There's an enormous amount of Irish history here. I hope we see some more Irish drawings from you as time goes on.

Excellent work on the rocks and the abby is wonderful. I wish I had taken more pics of things like this in England.

Tazzers and Monica - Thanks for the comments
Chris - I had fun with the stones. Not being a stippler, I kept scratching away with a fine tipped micron.
Val - I have a lot more photos of items of interest in Ireland. Mostly "old" houses on people's properties. If I get work under control, I can spend more time drawing them ...
Charissa - thanks for your comments. I have been into stone recently. I am trying to make the rendering look more life-like. I have a few photos of rock walls I may try
Steff - Ireland was a blast. I met 50-60 cousins in several little towns, took lots of photos (which I need to catalogue) and drank too much Guiness!
Bergere - Thanks
Rachel - The drawing is on 9x12 bristol and was done with 01, 02, and 05 Microns
