I did this to day.
I think it turned out well considering all the details this leaf had.
This leaf was also done from a pencil study, and a photo.

Size is 6.7 in * 4.7 in
paper: Saunders Waterford, 300g, 140lb, hot pressed.

You did a wonderful job on this ranunkel.

Lovely range of colours and textures. Did you mask any of the veins?

This is very good. Lovely texture and veining.

I am blown away by your pencil studies as well. They are works of art on their own.

Gosh ranunkel, this is a terrific leaf study.

Is this a series of different leaves you are doing? I think fall leaves would be a good series like this.:thumbsup:

This is a series of 6 botanical studies for my botanical art class.
I am going to do 3 leaves and 3 flowers.

Did you mask any of the veins?
No I used negativ painting for the veins.
