I've been around for a while, but this is the first time I've posted to this forum. I love the creativity here :thumbsup:
This quilt is made of poly-cotton material with regular fiberfill batting. The wings and body of the large dragonfly are seminole patchwork. All four dragonflies were appliqued onto the background. It is sort of symbolic of my new granddaughter-to-be, who is due in about a month, and her three older brothers. I had it machine quilted by a local woman, and I am not very pleased with that part of it, but oh well. I am working on another baby quilt, this one with a large butterfly. I'm doing it quite differently, but with the same materials. The colors are actually much brighter irl.
