Just for fun, I did this rose while drawing the Christmas card. Size is about 20 x 20 cm. The background is black marker, and the rose is done with the same Rotring 0,13 that I used for the card. Not stippling because I cannot see the dots as before and I became nervous but with little scribbles (is that correct?) or round lines, more relaxing.

Dolors, I can see your little round lines, and they work well in your picture. Nice work, and I'm happy to hear you found it relaxing.

Very nice, Dolors! I like it a lot, and it has such a soft look to it. I'm sure it's faster than stippling too. :p

Scribbles...circularism...call it what you want, still makes for a fine rose.

Nicely done Dolors! Almost looks stippled, it still has that stipply softness to it.

This is stunning Dolors -- love your technique -- it almost looks like it has been raining and there are little droplets of water on it. I hope you will do more -- maybe one in colour.
