Hi Gang! It has been ages since I was here in the sub forum. I need to come back and comment on some awesome work. The Knot Brain is awesome. Tess, please don't look too closely at the knots... my freehanding the "tree branches" yielded a few errors  . This card is part of the Christmas Card exchange project going on in the Pen and Ink Forum. This card has some elements I learned in this forum (knots, spirals, and calligraphy). Have fun! - Chris

Nope, not errors, those are "features".

This is great, Chris!
Is it too late to make a suggestion? I'm thinking you might want to add in some of the yellow from the star or maybe another color to the knotwork parts of the "garland?" Just an idea... ignore it if you wanna! :D

Brad, thanks for your comment!
Tess, I will try it out (that is what printing to card stock allows me to do ... try something). I was thinking to myself, that it'd be fun to make the braid/garland stand out, but I dismissed it too quickly. Next freehand set, I'll have to watch my rope count to ensure no over-over or under-under errors.

I have been browsing back through this forum - and just had to say I really love this one. I hope it's okay to "ressurrect it"? - it is the right time of year.

What a wonderful way to combine Christams and celtic knots.
