Hi All,
I donīt know if this is considered plein aire and flowers are not my "cuppa tea" normally but...I looked at my little flowerbed yesterday and was captivated by those tiny field beauties..so I just had to sit in the backyard and paint them..and here they are.

Plein Air is just a fancy way of saying Outside .. "Open Air" and so any painting painted outside fits the bill.
Flowers are not my cup of tea either, color is, and these look great.

Reminds me of Charles Reid's flowers!
Painting in the open air definitely qualifies as plein air! Your light touch with the watercolor is a winner!

See, you were 'captivated' by these beauties and had to paint them and they turned out just lovely! Yes, Carly they remind me of Charles Reid's work as well and that's a GOOD thing! Keep painting & posting!

Lovely! I prefer the informality of the first one, but the second one is almost like a traditional botanical, and I love that style as well.
