These were intended as part of the Small Works Exhibition, but unfortunately I didn't get accepted. Oh well, better luck next time right?

Crowquill, ink, prisma marker.

Great drawings! Are they watercolours with ink? The dogs expressions are fantastic.

Welcome to the P&I Forum Hannah. I love both of these, and especially like the wet tongue of the dog in the first pic. I hope we see more work from you.

Thn you for the comments!

All of this is Ink and Marker, no paints of any sort. I've been asked before if my marker work was acrylic or watercolor, but I assure you it's not, I use Prismacolor Markers and Bombay Inks.

Very well done!! SWE doesn't know what fine art it is missing.

Welcome to Wetcanvas and the P&I forum, Hannah:) The second pic did not come out for me, but I love that dog. He looks like he is yawning...lol You did a great job on his mussle and the interior of his mouth, especially that tongue and the teeth in the bottom. The nose looks wet and the overall coloring is great.

Great images. The combination of mediums works well, and you obviously know what you are doing with them.

Thanks very much :3
I continue to just play around with my prismas and white ink, try new things just to learn. Glad to hear these puppies are appreciated! :D

Well I think whoever was doing the choosing for the small works exhibition had no taste or knowledge of good art work!!! Love your work, great personality in your subjects and your marker work is incredible.

Wow ...these are great . I was looking online at those prismacolor markers and the 156 colour box of markers looks like it would have more than enough colours. I'm using the 24 colour set of Faber-Castell Pitt brush markers but it's not enough variety sometimes . Really nice colouring job and shading!

All I have to say is...I love it!

Awesome--that yawn is really great!!

Thanks! :)
From what I learned about the exhibition, it's more "fine FINE" arts rather than illustration type work like I do. So it's no biggie ;)

I really only stick with a few specific colors when I work, which is funny because I learned I don't often use the 120+ prismas I have, lol.
