I don't feel like I have done much this year.

Here is the piece I am happiest with.

Anita I love that chair! The drawing is so mystical!

Dan, fantastic minature of Saint Bernard

Here's one I just did the first of the month from a black and white photograph.
It's sort of a mini:

Another mini - this is super Nickel! How did you get such looseness in such a small piece? I tend to get more and more detailed the smaller the piece.

 Dan and Nickel, those teeny-tinies are marvellous. How do you do them so small and so good!!

 Present, I agree with Nickel, your charcoal drawing is so mysterious in feeling.

All of my work is so outstanding it is impossible to select "the best." The example here is here only because it is fresh in my mind. I gave it away and it now hangs framed under glass in Austin, Tex.

You see, I am now in the process of divesting myself of all worldly goods, to spend the rest of my days in a Buddist Monastary in Nepal.

Hi,

Without a doubt, here is the one I prefer from my paintings of 2007, using a classical technique.

Hi everyone! I'm new here and very impressed about all the amazing paintings I've seen here today. This is my favourite painting that I made this year. I made it during my exams. It's very simple and I made it in less than an hour, but nevertheless I fell in love with it. I hope you like it too. It's chinese ink and watercolours.

I wasn't sure whether posting among my latest works the drawing "Bill's Eye" ( a portrait detail of my daughter's horse - Cutter Bills Borrego) or the oil painting on a wooden panel of Bellagio (lake Como) seen from Griante - Cadenabbia ... so I hope it doesn't mind if I post both of them: http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/20-Jan-2008/77963-bilseyemmm.jpg

this is a soft pastel drawing on wrapping paper

the following one is the oil painting :http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/20-Jan-2008/77963-bellagio.JPG

... I hope you all have a great time painting in 2008!

My best for 2007 was probably this landscape commission I did. Did a lot of plein air sketches and reference photos to work up the studio painting.

The largest painting I've done so far
