This is a theme that has always interested me... so here are several versions, and mediums... This first as all of them are done from imagination, and no reference images, just some research...

This one is a sketch for a technique I created...

Using india ink on a sheet of tracing paper over your original pencil, then going over the ink with markers that bleed well in order to blend the colors... this is the finish...

Thanks for looking... I think my favorite is the second one...

My favorite is the second one too, Bobby. Can't wait to see how it turns out. In the color version of the third one the arms seem a little small to me, but I love the colors. The arms in the pencil sketch seem more in proportion to the body. Nice work.

Great stuff. Are these studies for a future piece? Would love to see that.

I have to agree, that second one really catches my eye too.

They are all wonderful, but if I had to make a choice I would go with the second one.

Yep gotta go with the second one here too...

prefer the pose - lines and anatomy.......

(and i really dislike the color red....lol)
