RWSewell

The next person goes to an art supply store like a kid in a candy store.

samben84

The next person makes a list when they go shopping for supplies, otherwise they won't have money for the week's groceries.

Andrew
08-30-2011, 03:38 PM
I do make a list. Following it, however, is another matter.

When shopping for art supplies, the next person will always hit the discount/closeout/scatch-n-dent shelves first.

Andrew

RWSewell
08-30-2011, 04:59 PM
Hmm I wish. 99% of the time I'm shopping for Prismacolor pencils and I NEVER see them go on sale. Frames, on the other hand, I usually go discount.

The next person has the sudden urge to stop at an art supply store today/tonight.

samben84
08-30-2011, 06:12 PM
Nope. I probably don't go more than once or twice a year. Most of my purchases are via the internet.

The next person also finds it inconvenient to make a trip to the art store.

The next person has a specific art tool they hold with reverence.

Andrew

snoball
08-31-2011, 08:51 AM
Actually I do. It is a Dixon's Market 307, a very very dark pencil with a large lead that they don't make any more. I save it for very darks on my pencil drawings.

The next person doesn't really do much drawing.

Andrew
08-31-2011, 09:15 AM
Actually I am currently exisiting almost solely on drawing and sketching. Studio time is at an all time primium right now.

The 307, isn't that like a Carpenter's pencil?

Andrew
09-01-2011, 08:47 AM
