Vegemite is very popular product here in Oz .It's a spread you can have on bread but can used in other ways too, but particularly tasty on toast.
It is a concentrated yeast extract and very rich in Vitamin B.
It is dark brown in colour,quite salty to taste and smells like...ah well it smells like Vegemite.(quite unique all of its own)

Sounds like what we here in England know as Marmite. You either love it or you hate it. Personally, I think it tastes yucky! But that's just because I am a sweet rather than a savoury person. :D
