I am currently using an old Singer 247 sewing machine. It's fine, but I am interested in getting something better. (It was loaned to me by my MIL. I don't know how old it is. It's very basic.) I mostly make cloth dolls (as you can see from my avatar) on my machine. I am an intermediate/ beginner so I don't need anything too crazy but would like a few cool features (though I don't know what they would be:confused: ). I am looking to spend $200 max and am not against a refurbished machine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!:thumbsup:
