At the workshop I attended last week several mentioned getting a press from Dick Blick for $100. The cheapest one I can find in the catalogue is $299 + a lot of accesories. There is a Speedball press for $59. Anybody use anything like that??

I believe the $59 presses are more for relief, linoleum to be specific, prints. Gisela bought a press from Dick Blick last year. I am not sure what it cost her, but I am sure she will chime in to let you know:D I have a Griffin Press, but it cost over $2,000, but I expect to get a lot of use out of it over my life time, and intend to leave it to a university for a printmaking class when I am gone. One of the Griffin presses I worked on while in college was over 80 yrs old, and these presses never lose their value. For those that only make prints on occassion the Dick Blick presses are perfect.
