I promise last ones.

I would like to pay homage to Cyrus West field, who was the very first CABLE GUY :D . I think he is very much partly responsible for all of us to touch each other in this wonderful forum today.

Cyrus West Field (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyrus_West_Field) was the force behind the first transatlantic telegraph cable, attempted unsuccessfully in 1857 and completed on August 5 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_5), 1858 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1858). Although not considered particularly successful or long-lasting, it was the first transatlantic cable project to yield practical results. The first official telegram to pass between two continents was a letter of congratulation from Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_of_the_United_Kingdom) to the President of the United States (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_of_the_United_States) James Buchanan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Buchanan) on August 16 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_16). The cable was destroyed the following month when Wildman Whitehouse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wildman_Whitehouse) applied excessive voltage to the cable while trying to achieve faster telegraph operation. The short period of use undermined public and investor confidence in the project, and delayed efforts to restore a connection.

Here are a couple -- Michaelangelo's David & Darwin

By the bye some think that the David Michaelangelo sculpted was the Jewish David that slew the giant. However that David would have been circumscised. Francis Schaffer (Christian theologist) puts forth the idea that this David is Michaelangelo's statue of Renaissiance Man. Whatever, interesting thought and beautiful work
