The river that wends it's way down the picture both grabs for my attention, and is barely distinguishable from the background.

Looking at the photo you've taken (which may not be accurately capturing the colours) my eyes are getting tired from being attracted to it and then not being able to *find* it in the image.

If I were to make one comment it would be that. If I were to make two comments, the tree looks very offbalanced and is a little disorientating. It also looks like to tapers right at the bottom before it is obscured by the greenery that makes it look almost upside down.

For me, it's a simple matter of not having a focal point. The scene is lovely. It has a very fanciful feeling, but there is no place for my eye to settle after I've wandered around a bit. I feel I want a subject that will give me reason for wandering into the woods in the first place. I love the cool color scheme and darker mood.
