I did this sketch last night, trying to do what I did in response to last week's challenge, which was just look at the image on my screen and let my hand draw without stopping to think/analyze/Critique/ERASE. Then went back to make corrections and shading... I've also been trying this from life all week, drawing my dogs, trees, the animals at the zoo, etc. and it's really fun! Anyway this took 40 minutes, mechanical pencil on 5x7 sketch pad. I thought I would give it a more focused effort today, but won't have time, so apologies to Polygon for her crooked ear and Jack Nicholson smile....:)

Wow! For a countour-style "blind" approach, that's amazing! The hands and arms are really well done as someone else noted. The likeness is definitely there too, even with the addition of the evil Jack Nicholson smile (I was thinking The Shining, were you? ;) )
