Very nice, reminds me of the ole saying "Pink in the morning, Sailors warning! Pink at night, Sailors delight :p ". Interesting use of purple hues. The white horse has a nice form and looks pretty calm, despite the electricity in the air! I like it! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for your comment, I didn't realize how blurry this painting was until I posted it. The colors in the background are quite different and the pinks that showed up are really shades of purple. Thanks again... Gundy

It's purple on my screen. the whole piece seems verly dream like. I like it a lot. good rendering of what looks like ship rock, a wonderful stormy sky and the horse is well formed of which I am always envious being challenged in the area of horses.

Thanks Trilby, I'm glad it came across a little more the true colors. I would like to get a less blurry picture and repost it sometime. Thanks for you comment.

These computer monitors displays can be the bane of the internet artist somtimes I believe! My monitor shows the painting with a mixture of pinkish-purple hues, warm tones. Is that closer to the actual colors? Anyway, it's still a nice piece, despite the hue perceptions!

The hues are more purple with some redish tones and the background went quite hazy, I don't know why, thanks for your comments though and as I said, I'm going to take another photo of it and see if the colors come out more true to the painting.

Try to take your photo outside on a sunny day. I think you will get truer colors that way. I like the tension in the piece with the lightening in the background, and the horse racing to get away from it.

Thanks Sassybird, I will do that. I was wondering if dial-up was contributing to the hazyness, but I will retake this and see if it makes a difference.

Great job on this piece! Whatever the hues are supposed to be, I like the way you used them. I also really like the way you rendered the sky and the rock in the background.

Thanks Kym and 2bears, The painting is really alot more vivid than it shows here, but I'm glad you caught the mood I was trying to get.
