Any thoughts on this format?

Yep, I like this a lot better. I thought there was just too much blank water at the bottom with the other format.

may look cool as a triptych.......
very long and narrow.........unusual but would give a very long landscape
feel........maybe not this exact piece......but a series like this.....
long, narrow and in 3 complete works....that continue across the wall....
taking up 6-8 feet or so.....perhaps

I like the long and narrow format with this composition. What size is this?

This is another lovely painting. What would you think of making the two-story building kind of in the center a little more dominant in tone to give the painting a focal point? Right now, the first place my eye is drawn is the word CRAB on the roof of the building on the right because it is RED and is big and bold on a WHITE roof.

If you intended that to be the focal point, then no problem. I just think that lovely two-story shrimp-colored building with an open porch would be more interesting. ;)
