Hopefully a bit of an improvement - but we'll never know, will we?

artinthebrush, I see a maked improvement here, White is very hard to do put on canvas or paper and you have done a good job..Your leaves are also very well executed. Good job!

Very nice. I had many of colored plants outside my home in Hawaii and I sure miss them. Lots of color and contrast in your pic like it a lot

I like the fairly loose approach to the leaves and the crisp whiteness of the flower.
It nestles beautifully into the leaves too. It's another lovely painting.

You could, perhaps, try introducing the vaguest glaze of surrounding colour into the white in places - the flower would reflect the surrounding greens and the red of the stamen ... but very subtley.

I like your hibiscus very much.
I do feel though, that the pale green background detracts from it a little. My initial reaction was that a darker background would enhance an already nice painting. I took the liberty of changing the background in photoshop (I hope you don't mind) just to get an idea of what it would look like. I'm not an expert in PS so please take this as a representation. In the second one I also added some more shadow on the bottom rh leave.
