Ruth, these are so crisp and lovely . . . just like daisies posed against the bright sky along a path.

Very effective too to isolate them this way with their dynamic diagonal rhythm!

I always enjoy your work!

Hope Amy is having a great experience at university :) But I bet her mommy misses her! I remember what it feels like . . .

This is almost my first time posting here in florals (to be honest I didn't know there was a floral/botanical catagory till Deb cross-posted her beautiful tulips). WOW Ruth I must say I loooooove this!! Pure, clean, crisp colors are my absolute favorite but sometimes with watercolors it can look so "cheesey" but you managed to pull it off very well. Even tho it's a very simple painting I would love to have this hanging in my house. I'd stare at it every day! Now I'm gonna have to check out your website to drool over you other art!

This is a primer in light management.
I'd like to have seen you paint it.
Nicely done

So simple, so beautiful. It's the way I want my watercolors to look, loose and soft. But I'm not there yet, have oil painting hangover. Enjoyed looking at your daisies.

Ruth, This is just beautiful! I love the crisp whites against the blue sky. Your daughter is going to adore this - she'll have the prettiest dorm room around.

Thank you all so much! :) Amy saw it and immediately asked if she could have it, so I think she likes it! I have to get a print of it though as she can't make any holes in her walls for heavy frames, and I would hate it if it was damaged. Amy can have the original on her bedroom wall :)

Grainne, it's lovely to see you! Yes, I miss her terribly, but she's settling in well (apart from this weekend as her friends are all going home and she's staying behind :( )
