Hi everyone. This is an ink drawing of a to-go coffee cup with sleeve. I created the image by writing the word coffee over and over again. There are no other marks other than the letters of the word coffee. I used a TUL black gel pen. Critiques are always welcome.

Monica, Never tired of anything to do with coffee. If I were tired, however, I'd have a cup to wake me up.

Chris, tea is good, but nothing beats a good cup of coffee.

Thank you both for commenting.

It's amazing what you can do with a few letters:clap:
You have created a really neat texture here Ari:thumbsup:

Thanks Chris. It is a technique I like to use from time to time. This is the farthest I have pushed it to date. Usually I just do an object. Here is an example of one I did in the past. It is a silver wine cup created using Hebrew lettering that spells out my name.

This time I wanted to sculpt out the image from the background by varying the repetitive nature, size, line spacing and kerning of the word. I think it was somewhat successful.

This really is terrific. Completely fools the eye into believing that it is a metal goblet. It sparkles:clap:
