Beautiful painting, beautiful place Surreal!
You have captured a haunting, peaceful quality to this setting. As always, I love the depth of your pictures and your composition. You use beautiful subtle tones, I was particularly drawn to the greens in the forground set off by the glass-like sheen you achieved with your water.
Awesome!! :D

Surreal,

I like this painting a lot. A very interesting choice for subject matter - you make it look so beautiful, which is such a contrast to the reputation it has around here. Well done!

Nice blending! i agree on the composition point- i had never figured you to be into any realism, but it appears your talents don't only lie in surrealism... it's very realistic looking, but still in your style. i like the way you've captured the water....
overall i'm enjoying your work. keep it up.

I said the same thing.....a calm and eery feel. I love IT. Realistic or not I still get an underlying 'surreal' effect from this piece. It so speaks to my body......" w/shawl drawn up close about the shoulder.....I see" Its WONDERFUL. I so enjoy your work 'surreal'.

Yeah, I agree with dragoni689. I have really enjoyed your painting style, and with this piece you have managed to blend surrealism and realism. At first glance, this looked like a photo. But then I saw your name, and took another look. That's when I noticed your own stylistic touches.

I love this painting, and the subject matter. Great job!

Great image and it gives me a false sense of security, looks like a promotion. Like the white spot on the water, by the mtns on the left. Catches the eye.
