I recently did this drawing for an internet swap. What do you think?

It's a really lovely draswing - super tonal work ....... how big? - and what pencils and paper did you use?

It is on Bristol and it was originally on 11x14 paper. I had an oopsie with a hole in the top left of the paper where the rose wasn't so I cut the rose out and pasted it onto textured pastel paper instead. Just used some pencils I had laying around, HB, B, 4B, 6B, F, H and 4H.

It was a lot of fun to do and it's so weird that I can look at certain pieces of it and know which movie I was watching when I did it. LOL...

i'd sure have some prints made before i gave this one away! wonderful rose and i usually don't care for roses.

Thanks everyone! You gave me a boost of confidence with the print suggestions! I had already wrapped it up to send when y'all had suggested that. Next time though!

I love this forum. I am just drawn to botanicals so much!

Nioce drawing. You could always work the background a bit so it doesn't seem to float as much. But then if it was a cut out it would float.
