I like this - the strength of the w/c and the colours used - very nice.
I think leaving some white areas for highlights could help - but it's still very nice work :D

It's true! You're prety and you're new. Your water colours are striking and I would buy them instantly. Keep up the good work.

Thank you all for your comments on my roses, especially you, Bob! I hadn't done a watercolor in quite a while so I redid one I had painted years ago, this time using the advice about colors I read here and on handprint.com. Switching from Alizarin Crimson to Windsor Red made all the difference for me in getting the vibrancy and saturation I wanted, AND no mud this time.

Very beautiful. I like all the green tones for your leaves. I kept looking at the flowers and then read your later post about Windsor Red instead of Alizarin. I've never had Windsor Red, but will definitely purchase some after seeing your roses. It really makes a difference.
