Another great painting. With a glowing house.

really nice! captures the night feel of a bright moon well. The house though would definitely be shaded on those two walls facing us. Both the end wall and the side wall, slightly different values, one from the other.

I like the limited colour scheme and great use of orange in, yet again, a miniature-esque painting, in which you excel to make look huge.
I think I would have preffered it without the moon and the house
Ignore me
Great night time work

well here's a contradiction for you, I happen to think the moon and the house make the painting...they help the viewer develop a story out of it all...plus i like the white contrasts they provide

I would change the title to "The Silver House" if it was mine to name. Something about that name suggests itself to me. This painting really has an eerie feel.

Slurps - I like that name! and it is getting close to Halloween:evil:

Kathrynlovespets - I love it when I can make up a story out of what I see in a painting... thanks!

Dhuot - perhaps I will do another for you Daniel and knock down the house. But I cant gt rid of the moon :D

You captured the night feel that's for sure, but I noticed too that the shadow on the house falls on the right side. Since it looks like it should be back lit by the moon, the shadow side should be closest to the viewer.
Take what I say with grain of salt, I'm still learning. But it's definitely a nice original piece of art. Let's see more !!
