Hi everyone I haven't had much to post latly but here are a couple of new bowls that I entered into a big art show and I got both in so I am a happy camper....I also got a painting accepted here is a link to that one.

and my two bowls...
First one is 22 inches by 6 inches deep, a pour then sandblasted refused again more sandblasting , firepolished then slumped.

Second one is 20 inches by 4 inches, poured , sandblasted , firepolished then slumped.

Wow, it's definately like fire and water! Both are very cool. Congrats on getting in the show.

Fantastic bowls. My "best" was a little pot melt and it devitted so I'm awful at fusing but I know "Fantastic" when I see it!

I'm sitting here on my day off trying to wake up. No coffee yet. I'm amazed by the beauty of your bowls. As a fused glass artist, I aspire to trying slumped work someday.
Your painting is wonderful. Makes me think of a display I designed once for an orchid show which featured a retreat with an old wicker chair surrounded by orchids. While we were setting up - the show was at the King of Prussia Mall, a large, upscale mall in PA - a lady came along and wanted to buy the chair out of the exhibit. I said no.
Thank you for posting your work. Good luck at your show.
