I like it except for the black outline in the center, around the red. I really like the upper part with the berries and the leaves. Love the colors. It is nice to look at. Rose

What an exciting feel to this picture, Kathryn. There is something different in this one from your others, some little change in mood or temperament. Whatever it is, even if it only lasted for the time you created this piece, you should be able to always look on this and see if that feeling comes back to you. This has a wonderful flow in its lines, straight from within you. Excellent results when emotion is examined and channeled and captured; tough to do when emotions are so ephemeral, and yet here you have found a way. Tremendous.

I have to say this is one of the most wow paintings I have seen in a while.
Love the colors! Have you ever stepped into the shower thinking it was hot but to your surprise it was cold? That is how this makes me feel. Wakes me up girl-great job

Very nice! I've seen (and done) work recently that would take a piece like yours and use clear acrylic or gloss in certain places to create a deeper feel to the work. Just a thought.... Thanks for sharing!

This is very inspiring to me, a lifelong high realist, moving to a more expressionistic mode. I'm considering doing a more "commercial" line of paintings, and your approach suggests a new way of doing things. Thank-you!

i will loook into the gloss....definately a good idea (now i feel like I'm not satisfied--it needs a glossy finish!)
