A couple a weeks ago I posted a painting that was w.i.p, but I decided to wash that away, and now it looks like this! Any suggestions? Iīm open for your thoughts and ideas.

Mount it to the board it's on and put it in a show. They love this sort of thing.

Niclas,
Is this what you did after washing off the first painting? Not sure what else is needed. It is a minimilist, stylized flower that has lovely sensuous lines.

The large flower looks a little unbalanced, IMHO, perhaps add another petal on the left????? I can almost see one there in the white form.

Hey Nic, good to see you.
Good question on "this sort of thing"...and who's "they"?
I guess I'm "they", because I LOVE the effect of washing away paint, and have done a lot of work that way - the patterns and textures left behind have a great organic look that would be almost impossible to paint. I think this is pretty cool, and wouldn't touch it myself, it's got everything it wants. Keep experimenting with the technique, it's a wonderful way to break away from the straight and narrow. Nick

It's good very good in fact:wink2:

I would agree with Sylvia, that flower may just need a hint of another petal to give it a better form and structure.
