I have just found that one of the very best mediums one can use for making oil paint easier to apply, is "unrefined" walnut oil. This oil, found on your grocers shelf, under cooking oils, is the best thing I have tried, and I have tried everything. Because it has no anti oxidants or preservatives it dries in one day. Look for Loriva walnut oil. Great stuff for oil paint!
