Cross-posted from Acrylics, Based on this lovely photo by Trimoon from our very own RIL: http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/show...php?photo=6308 (http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/showphoto.php?photo=6308) my 18 x 24" gallery wrap morphed about three times from my original plan. I finished this today and am content where it ended up.

I think this is what's considered a "low keyed" painting. It's quite dark, but looks really enchanting in a dark room with a light shining over the top.

C&C are always welcome! (I'm trying a new signature style too...think it looks okay?)

I really like paintings with a night lighting and this is really a beauty. The flower glows against the dark sky and the foreground blues and mauves tell us a lovely moon is glowing there too.

The signature looks very distinctive.

WOW this is really neat. It is almost spooky and not something I'd like to come across while sleepwalking. Love that little colour among the darks. You have a very inquisitive way Celeste. Bravo!

Wonderful piece! Almost looks lit from inside with a nice glow.
