Just dropping in a few before I try and get some sleep for a change. Gotta get up in a few hours and drag myself out to the studio. I've been lazy and got behind...not a good thing!

Ellen they are fun! you have great stringer control :)

Jayne - I love, love, love the reactions you are getting there!!

Shari - that's a wonderful colour combo, especially with the cold nights starting to creep in!

Lisi - your frit beads always have so much depth to them, they are beautiful!

I have to show this one, it was a Miracle in Merrickville on Friday night, I still can't believe I did it. I haven't been able to repeat it mind, so if anyone knows how I can achieve it again please pm me!! I'm on a hot head and this is copper green and reddish orange.

sorry pics are a bit big.

Gorgeous beads everyone, I love how we all use colours so differently.

Here's a set from me that I made a couple of days ago... I'm really please with how these colours went together.

Pinar those look like bone. Very pretty.
Anne, those colors go together fantastically!

Louise you got some copper out of that copper green, didn't you? Way cool.
Sheryl, that bead is too hot to touch, no wonder you didn't clean it!
Ellen, I love that opalie green with the black stinger. Very graphic.

This showcase just gets better and better.
Louise - WOW! that is great. I don't know what you did but it is great. my thought is did you reduce it or strike it. more than likely it is struck. try that. If you don't mind I am going to try myself later on that is one fantastic bead.

Hi Louise ,
I think I have the result you want to repeat!
I used dark rusty brown with copper red green stringer, when you have melted the stringer in and the bead is red hot you see that the copper red stringer separates and leaves a little line on the outside, this is the copper settling on the edge, take the bead out of the heat and allow to cool a little, then bring back into the yellow part of the reducing flame, you can repeat this a couple of times and the copper will show up more.On the 2nd photo the small bead on the left has some exotic red matise added. The top bead on 2nd photo shows no line and was made with plain copper green. hope this helps you?
