I really like the colors but I dont understand the title, I see what looks like a landscape or are those ship masts? Ive always thought a barge was a low, flat, water going vessel that had to be towed or pushed

The river Thames used to have working sailing barges years ago.Near where i live in Maldon Essex,there is a working museum of the sailing barges.
