"Rare Air" IN PROGRESS-
I started this yesterday. I have a long way to go refining and adding details.
More to come.......

Good start...all this in one day? It's beautiful and huge. Will it remain where it is now, or be framed? You think large.

Your painting has such impact, not only because of size but subject and quality of the work as well. I'm enjoying this!

Looks good so far!
And wow, that's hYooge! Do they make stretcher bars that long, or is it something custom made?

Thank you Jeff, Ann & Paula! :)
I'm hoping it has a real impact when it's finished.
And I stretched the canvas myself. I don't even want to think about how much I'd be charged to have one custom made! LOL! I buy it by the yard.

Very impressive. I can only image what it looks like standing in front of it. Thumbnail pics don't do any paintings justice, but I would say especially in this case.

You started that yesterday?? Heck, I would have only managed 1 sq ft not all that canvas. Awesome. Must look terrific IRL.

Thank you Carol! Yes, I started at 5am yesterday morning. I painted until 11pm last night and started again today. When inspiration hits I can't sit still! LOL! I paint until my entire body aches, literally. And yes, I can honestly say this one already has real impact visually. Everytime I walk by the room it grabs my attention from the doorway. The subject matter demanded the large canvas size... I wish I could go bigger!

That's amazing that you did all that in a day...even a LONG day! It looks done to me, though of course we're seeing it at a vastly reduced size. What's left to add?

Tremendous! This just superb!

Thank you Gayle, Deb & Jamie!!
Jamie- The main values are pretty much there. I now have the tedius task of refining all areas and small elements. I have to add and delete certain details until I'm "satisfied"...Which is next to never! :(

Oh wow, I could never paint all day like that. Two hours is usually all I can handle. This is amazing. So huge, so fast, and so well done. But, is this on the same wall as before? What happened to the other painting?

All i can say is WOW!!! very impressive!!!
it grapped my attention! right away!!!

Thank you Katiekre and Michelle!
Michelle- This is the same wall in my home art studio. I rolled up the last couple of paintings to do this one. That is the price I pay for not having a larger home. :)
