this was an experiment MDF board 54x61cm primed with W&N clear gesso base and coloured with marsviolet acrylics.
makes a great ground for pastels.

This is great. The background really sets off the man...like he's sitting in a parks. Backgrounds always perplex me...you've done it very well.

No, Susanna I am not russian but dutch as can be; my name is Dick and that of my other half is Marian, hence the name Dima.
Which of course leads to the question who 'go' may be?
