It was a canvas painting that was tucked away I hated it,so I attacked it re gesso, old bumps and lumps still under neath got out the old credit cards picked up colour here and there on the side of the credit card and scraped down the canvas, buildings formed on the old under neath bumps and lines
then I blew from a blower this formed alight spray of rain falling on the left side.great fun .I did this in about 2 to 3 hours at the most and I loved it straight away.I now have it ready for an exhibition in Surfers QLD in Nov

I like hearing about paintings being resurrected, so to speak.
Thanks for sharing this with us and good luck with your exhibition.

So do I and you did a great job resurrecting that old canvas. I had to look up sanguinty in the dictionary lol. Your painting is definitely upbeat and glowing. :)

Love the colors, blue sky-yellow water, with built in texture. Great idea with a very nice result to re-use an old canvas. Good credit card strokes also.
