done watercolour technique...postcard sized, 300gsm watercolour paper boy this stuff drinks paint!!!!
my fav work of art so far, I really enjoyed doing this, and achieved what I wanted...

Nice composition and colors. Maybe it could use alittle deeper shading.

I can see why you are so fond of this one, gnu! Great work! Perhaps it's just the scan, but the chiles seem a little too orange to me, needs more red.

Nice colors!
A preliminary layer of gesso should prevent the excessive paint absorption.

Thanks for the comments all. I like it as is.. When I do a large one though I'll bear the shading in mind, the colours will stay, as I'm not going for exact replica here....

What I like best are the faded colors and the counterclockwise movement of everything on the page, even the way the peppers are laying. I can see why you like this one so much.

nicely done, like the composition allot. just enough green to compliment all the worm going on, would be nice to do bigger a. maybe a kitchen calender.
