So much work on the go, I took a week off down West Wales, while there I manage to finish off a few painting and start some new ones and hereís one in oils of a very young Orang, I came across this image in a calendar and I know about copy rights and so, but I just had to paint him/her just for the painting experience.

Well Gary, your primates ARE fantastic, and who cares if its from a calendar. Ive done dogs from calendars and I think we give them a better view.
Just love your orangutans, and this baby

The blues in this one really lift it - one of my faves of yours - sometimes a pic just has a little bit of something magic - and I think this one makes that connection with me

Hi All
Sept 07 was the last time I posted. Sorry but too much other stuff took priority over the paint brush which was so frustrating but had to be.
Now I have some time to paint and hereís an update, details work to eyes and surrounding area.

sorry image did not upload?
I'll try a new thread

Thanks all, Linda, Monte, Janet, Fae Lynn, Peter, for all your nice comments.
