Hi! I just finished this one (paint still wet) and I would love to get some feedback on it. Its oil on 3" x 5" canvas paper. I painting a group of 8 paintings for a local miniature show coming up and thinking of including this one in the group. So, all C&C more than welcomed. :)

Hi Madelaine :wave; this is lovely. I like the flower cut in half but the top and the bottom read differently and I suspect that it is the central petal. At the top to me is seems to bend away from the viewer and yet I think it should be curling forward.

Very creative viewpoint. Your petals look very delicate. I like it. Are you othe paintings florals also?

Absolutely lovely, your colors are nice and rich! :)
You have some warm touches in the top right portion of the petals. It adds a slight flush of color in that area...lovely! Maybe add a little flush in the top left, too, maybe in the shadow. It just seems 'cold' in that space. I'm nit-picking though...
Love the unique view of the flower... beautiful!
