Hi,
I'd like to improve my landscape beads. I find trees difficult.
Nice beads B-Todd.
We just returned from a south florida trip and I met this curious little gecko outside our door there. Hmm maybe a gecko bead.
Here's another bead ring I made.

Wonderful stuff everyone.
Neil I love the bead ring. I have been working on getting one just right but have not accomplished that yet.
Juls I love the new fall colors. They are great. I was looking ahead to spring so I can make one big glass purchase here pretty soon. That is a great pallet also but I think I like the fall/winter better.
Rachelle - those creatures are so fun.
Oh look at the time gotta run off to work. Have a great day. Do not mean to leave anyone out I like all I am seeing today just out of time.

Belinda - another beatiful landscape!

Neil - I love you ring!! I think the way the light sparkles on transparent glass with ripples in it is just beautiful and you have set that off just perfectly with the wire work :)

GL - purty Boro!! That is sooo beyond my horizon at the minute

Jayne - I really like your keys, we have a bunch of old ones hanging up and I keep eyeing them evilly but just can't quite bring myself to use one - probably because I know I'd screw it up!

Juls - your first one has me hankering after some ice cream!

Mary - your animals make me smile they have such big personalities

Anastasia - I'm loving your flower beads!

Kristina - what a lovely assortment of styles! I don't know which I like best!

RMG - Cuties! They are adorable!!

Gotta post and run! These are ending tonight. Some experiments that turned out good. I'm running out of my usual base colors for frit, so I played around with whatever I could find.

Val's Ruby Gold on Uroboros opal, and Groovy Swirl blend (Val's) on Uroboros Alpine Blue.

Wow, the talent here is simply amazing! Coming out of lurkdom very hesitantly -

B-Todd - the trees are so beautifully impressionistic, they remind me of a Monet.

ndylla - I love that ring! Is that 14K wire?

GL McBead - Those beads look just like real fire. How did you get such depth to the colors?

Me Jane - The keys are really unusual! Do they actually work or do you display them only?

Juls - your focal beads are gorgeous with a capital "G"! Did you use silver wire for the accents?

Beadreamer - Now I have a smile on my face from you looking at your animal beads. Thank you for brightening my morning!:D

anastasia_beads - your implosions are magnificent! How do you get your clear to stay so....clear???

Ellessonbeads - more beautiful implosions! That's a tchnique I"m just starting to learn so o see wuch beautfil examples of it gives mea goal.

rmg- more adorable animal scultpture! One day, I"ll have the finesse to do something like that. Maybe!

LouiseI - I love your buttons! Do you do some for all seasons?

Sislonski - Your focals are so complex I can't stop finding new things!

Sugarenie - great set! I keeptrying to get the swirl technique down, but I still need more practice apparently. :cat:

No its not. It has a long name.
Its called '18 gauge non tarnish silver plated gold colored copper wire'.
Found it from a company called parawire. Great deals there.

Thanks for the nice words!

Joanne...I try to keep my rods really clean...most scum comes from dust...or scratches...and for this I sort of "peel" the glass. I donīt know how the real technique for this works...but I just try to remove every tiny little bit of scum with my tweezers...And, I donīt work that hot...so I donīt boil it...
