Here's some of my new work. I worked on a huge bouquet all day Saturday, but chickened out & broke it up into 4 listings...and a new bag to support a honkin' landscape tree bead. It needed padding to prevent it from hurting the buyer, heehee. Love, Helen

Wow Helen, you've outdone yourself! This work is your greatest ever!   I would love to watch over your shoulder as you create all these gorgous works of art. Did you dye the fabric on the bag as well? That is just marvelous! My hat is off to you!:D

Merci, Ginger. No, I buy it from Skydyes.com. She does better than I ever did, although my favorite quote from my baby was when he said to phone callers, "She can't talk now. She's dyeing on the table." He loved that. :)

Thanks, y'all! When sales are slow, & you think your work's crummy, it's so nice to be able to beg a little kudos from friends.:) Love, Helen

Helen, Moonglow Echo is a beautiful image...where is it?
I used to grow those vines each summer. Mixed them with purple morning glory so I got flowers morning and late evening!

Love your work!

Thanks, Mary! I'm afraid it's just from my imagination, although the vines climbing the old oaks on the lake are probably indelibly impressed in my memory from painting them.:) Maybe Carolina Jassmine? Have you seen how they have built several new houses to look old on the lake? Maybe they'll stop tearing down old stuff...think they're starting to "get it"?heehee Thanks, Love, Helen

I don't get to LC anymore...I love old houses - wish I had one right now!
I meant where is the moonglow bead?

Moonglow Echo is the name of the Purse and Bead, Mary. I echoed the Bead in the tree on the bag, and it's all in purple moonglow, w/o the moon.:)

I see it now...amazing what the mind does...the name through me to memories of my moonflowers! Your bag is gorgeous! Is that a tree on your land? Fantastic backdrop :music:
