bathroom decorative painting

Here are some pics of the irises painted all over a bathroom. I showed the preliminary sample in another thread. The walls were sponge-painted two shades of light green that looks yellow in these photos. It's really more of a mint green or sherbet green.

This shows how I got that shadow effect. I mixed a color that was close to the color of a real shadow on the wall. I used the background green color and added some blue and a tiny bit of red to it, to get the gray-green shadow color. Then I painted the shadow first, let it dry, and then painted the leaves and flowers over it, following the shape of the shadow but a little above it, painting over it in places. Then added some highlights to the leaves and flowers, and it pops!
