Thank you Mikki! Mmmmm, peaches, warm peaches! Heaven.

I have a bunch of photos of roses. Here are some I put up over in watercolor. A couple are in the RIL. I too have a difficult time putting them in. All snaggable - but I would like to know if you create something with them, and maybe a mention. I have larger versions - just PM me if you want them.

My mini's

A mini and ladybug

A moonlit peach

These are in the RIL:
Yellow Pink 1

Yellow Pink 3

Yellow Pink 5

Yellow Pink 6

Sorry Laura - I made this thread for you and missed commenting! Duh!!!

Love the litle ladybird!

Particularly like the form of the last one - but they're all very paintable! :D

The last 4 rose photos are my favorites. What kind of roses are these? They look big? With lots of petals...my favorite Roses :)

Thanks for creating the thread Maureen.

I'm glad you like them! Deb, it's a tea rose. Sorry, I don't know the variety. Not one of the big roses but bigger than the mini's and spray roses.

Hello, Laura! Thanks for your photos! The one titled "Moonlit Peach" looks identical to our Just Joey rose. I've taken quite a few photos of ours as it so often has an absolutely perfect rose form, and am in the midst of painting several of them right now. There are SO many beautiful ways in which we can portray the intricate details and shadowing of flowers - I love it!

Thanks again, Pat

Hi Pat! You're welcome. The moonlit peach is too orange for a Just Joey. I love JJs, you are right about the form.

It's not easy to choose, but my favourite is Yellow Pink 1

Yep, I like it too. It has great shadows/lights. I do like the "pose" of #3 better though. A juxtaposition would be good?
