I did this earlier this year - 16" square deep edge canvas, in acrylics (full bodied).
It's a little different from my other paintings; I played around in PSP8 with the image of a dahlia - then just had fun with colour.

The bk/gd may look black but it's actually a mix of various colours!

Maureen, don't you just love PSP? I've been hooked for years. Your colors are fantastic and the light is - wow. And you mixed your own "black"!

Maureen this is great, reminds me of those pinwheels we used to get as children that we held in the breeze or blew on to make spin. The colors are wonderful.
