I really enjoy doing florals in pastel. Here are some of mine.

Wow, I love them all! The iris is brilliant (plus I love irises) and the composition of the last one really makes it stand out!

Georgeous colours, and the interplay of light and shadow is wonderful. The third one I thought was a photograph at first glance - wonderful detail on the flowers enhanced by the blurred background.

Really nice paintings. I love the sunlight on the tulips, and the composition of the last one. I also like how the background is slightly blurred that really creates some depth, great job.

Wow, fantastic paintings Tammy. I just love the light and shade you have gotten with them all, as well as the colours, and the blurred background on that last one. I wish there were more hours in the day, as I want to get my pastels out now. Hope we see more of your beautiful work. :clap: :thumbsup:

WOW! These are all gorgeous. My favorite is the blue pitcher of tulips. I just love the lighting and the mood that you capptured!

Thanks everyone. This forum is a great place to be with lots of talent from everyone. I just wish there was more time to paint all the subjects I love.

Tammy - nice job on these. My fave is #3 with the church/monastery in the background. What's the location on this one?

Wow, that last painting is so real. They are all terrific - nothing seems to pop like pastel - not for me alas. I love the tulips too. The blue jug is gorgeous.
