about 6in square I think, coloured pencil from an overblown rose from my garden,
a medium I've only used a little but I've quite enjoyed - after painting large canvasses, often abstracted, it's quite nice to do something clean(!) and quiet and contemplative and observational. (more on my website)
c&c welcome :)

Vivien - is it done in watercolour pencils? - just that some of the marks look like spalsh/softened marks!
Lovely colour!

This in of itself is abstract to some degree. Lovely colours.

thank you all :)
Carol my work is always slightly abstracted or free at least :), I don't work in a photo realist way. Some is totally abstracted.
Maureen no, not wc pencils - it's a mix of polychromos and Lyra pencils in a moleskine, I only own one solitary wc pencil, bought in error!!! Recently though I've learned a new way with wc pencils and watercolour (sandpapering flecks into a wet wash - it's gorgeous) and aim to buy about 6 of them in particular colours.

Vivien - You already know this is a favourite of mine! Those colours just sing together.
